![]() ![]() PS I tried using the 'launch disc' open in FreeMcBoot 1.8 to launch a burned game disc. Am I right in interpreting that the process of actually putting your PS2 games onto the HDD is a pain in the arse? From what I'm reading I need to physically connect the HDD to my PC and use another app (WinHIIP) to copy games to the HDD? Is there seriously no way to rip the games while the HDD is still in the PS2? The next challenge is to see that my Network Adapter + HDD actually work, and put some games on them. The un-modded (stock) fat PS2 now boots to the McBoot menu (with noob apps like Open PS2 Loader) preinstalled. elf file, and follow the instructions to install McBoot to your (empty) memory card. Navigate the LaunchELF menu to 'MAS' (thats the USB storage). Plug in the USB memstick with McBoot installed. Using the modded PS2, boot it with the burned CD of LaunchELF.Unzip the McBoot noob package to a fat32 formatted USB memory stick:.Burn LaunchELF (a file explorer) ISO to a CD: TOOLS Open PS2Loader (OPL) Open PS2 Loader v 0.8 childproof.Turns out I've sorted the first step, but I could use a hand with the next step (see bottom of post)įor those in a similar predicament, this is what I did: Thanks very much for the kind offers to help out guys, its greatly appreciated. ![]()
